God Insurance-Do you have it?

REAL Ministry with VeeVeca

God Insurance– Do you have it?

Worried about your teenager? Your bills? The drama that seems to show up even when there is no tv on the tube? Are you thinking, "How is it always me in the heat of the fire with no source of fight left."

Are you Cried out? Tired out? Many people can wave a hand and testify to the same struggle. So what do you do now? Get some God Insurance and turn the (its) in your life over to the Almighty God. He is the only one that can work you out and it out at the same time.

3 Point Turn

  1. Instead of worrying about your drama, go out and do a good deed for somebody else. Say a kind word, Smile to somebody, pick up somebody else’s newspaper in the yard and take it to their door. Be gentle with someone. Listen to somebody else’s problem. Buy somebody a gift card. Find your way to give of yourself to help someone else in need. Be the blessing you need.
  2. Keep company with God. He’s your agent. Tell him like it is and trust that he knows even the fine lines to your policy. Remember he is God. He will do whatever needs to be done: He'll validate your life in the clear light of day and stamp you with approval at high noon.
  3. Stay in check. Don’t let your good foot slip on your left sided thought. The eyes of the LORD are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry. [Psalms 34:15] Is anyone crying for help? God is listening, ready to rescue you. If your heart is broken, you'll find God right there; if you're kicked in the gut, he'll help you catch your breath. Disciples so often get into trouble; still, God is there every time. He's your bodyguard, shielding every bone; not even a finger gets broken. [Psalm 37:17-The Message Translation]

What I am reading, NOW...5/09

METAMORPHOSIS a novel by D.J. McLaurin http://www.djmclaurin.com/

Grieving the loss of his mother and abandonment by the love of his young life, Michael finds solace in the arms of his good friend, Illian-- a party girl and substance abuser. He soon finds that Illian's dope is just the thing he needs to forget his lover, Chachi, and tolerate the constant badgering from his dead mother's ghost.

But Joe, Michael's billionaire father, along with Chachi, refuses to give up on Micael and hauls him unceremoniously into unconventional rehab.

In the tough yet tender care of Sunny Palmer, the hardcore head of the Progressive Rehabilitation Treatment Center, Michael finds the path to recovery and begins a transformation that brings both pain and confustion. A man now, he's anxious to reunite with his loved ones and ready to deal with his over-bearing father, his fiery ex-lover and Renee, Chachi's vemon spitting ex-girlfriend, whose hatred and jealousy borders on insanity.

But not much has ever come easy to Michael, and as he journeys into adult-hood, the secrets he uncovers about himself eclipses every challnge he expected to face. his life is rapidly changing, and he may not be strong enough to grapple with his metamorphoses while beeating back the deomons that continue to hound his heels.

It might be that in the love he's running from lies his only hope of weather his storm.

Who is the Dummy Now?

Scripture in View: A man's pride shall bring him low: but honour shall uphold the humble in spirit. [Proverbs 29:23]

Think you know so much!

A dumb person knows more than you? How is that so? He/she knows their world, through their own experiences and hands-on applications. They know the life and the style. Before you act out in what you think you know, consider this fact. "You don’t know it all."

As educated and knowledgeable as you are, you have limitations. You know your world and the things around you. Possibly, you may even have the wisdom to out think, assume and presume much. But not standing in the shoes of the opposing force, puts you on the effigy side of not fully existing in life through their eyes, their extremes.

To be truly smart is to be humbled to learn as you grow.

The devil is knocking but you don't have to answer

The D.E.V.I.L. is knocking, but you don't have to answer. Don't open the door to trachery and mess.
No matter how good it looks, feels and sounds, the end reads Demonic Evil Vices In Life= DEVIL.

Remember when Jesus had just been baptised by John the Baptist, he was claimed by God and esteemed as God's son in whom God was well pleased with. Imagine the great feeling knowing that God is well pleased with you. Then immediately, God sent him into the wilderness to be tested.

Isn't it ironic to be at the height of happy and tossed to the door of drama. Jesus did it and so shall we? When the devil came knocking, Jesus gave the word. The devil didn't go away right then, he kept right on knocking. Jesus gave the word. That's the order of our stand today. When Demonic Evil Vices In Life comes knocking, give God's word and keep reaching for the prize.

Size Me

I am a power alone but with all my size 20ish, I am a force to be reckoned with. More than anything I have learned to love Size ME. Funny, I had to learn to do that. Consider it strange but thin women do it too.

It’s not always about the weight. It’s about identity and personal satisfaction in your own image. "Lord help me be okay in my own skin." I prayed that prayer a million times until I had to deal with a disorder called degenerative joint disease. Then I had less time to worry about weight due to the pain in my lower back. Prayer changes things, just not as you expect. ha ha ha

As women we have been given such a raw deal in society to look Size Perfect at all times. We are to gain 20+ lbs have big healthy babies and bounce back immediately to Size Superstar. Heck to the Narrah.

Marilyn Monroe was a true size 14– hello world- Thick is real size women. Thank you very much.

Push comes to Shove -Super Kissed

This book is the chi ching from that tv cop show. It has been Super Kissed by me. The story is compelling and moves with fluid. The characters were real. GP had it hard living in a group home. Being told "you ain't nothing" so often can make you believe just that. But add a wife, two kids, and a gangster lesbian best friend to the pot. Will it be pot luck or just bad heat. "Fire and gun poweder don't sleep together." Oasis pitched a homerun piecing this story together with heartbeat thrills that left me with my mouth wide open. This book is a definite go-getter.
