Real Ministry with VeeVeca-Diamond in the Rough (Whitney Houston)
Diamond in the rough
If you cant love the diamond in the rough, why love it when it shines. Go Whitney!
I watched a portion of Whitney Houston on Good Morning Amercia, I am at work so I had to sneak a peak. I am so proud. Why? I never doubted her come back. I loved her through the good and bad times. She is phenomenal.
When the world turn its back on her, I turned my prayers for her! I love the lady and the gift that lives powerfully in her. When people made mean comments about her, I was offended. "Don’t talk about my Whitney," I said protecting her like family. In my heart, she was family. God made her family on a narrow road with a small bridge.
Years ago, I was coming back from lunch. It was a typical work day. I drove across a narrow road with a small bridge. And I heard it as clear as I saw the small road in front of me, "Pray for Whitney." I didn’t doubt it was God that I heard. Nor did I doubt the power of prayer.
I am a regular person not great to some but to someone else I am awesome. But God found me worthy of a task. I had heart, even when heartless could have been the human response. Resilently from the rubble of chaos, heart rises. And boy have I had to rise.

I believed in Whitney even when it didn’t look like CHANGE was coming. And that’s a powerful aspect there. How can you love somebody when you don’t see a change … around the corner, down the street, up the road, somewhere …. anywhere? That’s where God steps in covering a multitude of sins. Human, ah ha, can’t do that but God in all of his magesty can, and he does it in such a way that blinds you from the agony of what others may see, think, smell and feel. Have you ever loved a person that everybody else saw clean through, but you loved them anyway. Child, please… I been there too.
But today as I watched Whitney, I was proud of love. Love (God’s agape love) does not fail. It keeps on moving and working in the middle of the storm, at the end of the storm to victory and war all over again. Again I say,
"If you can’t love the diamond in the rough, why love it when it shines."
No matter the climb or struggle within, trust God with every heavy situation and circumstance. He is still the God of catching cares. His glove is never frayed or broken.Stay encouraged in the heavy– and move Forward.
